How long will it take to complete my website development?
All of MacroDigit's website projects are custom-built, so we can't give you a definitive length of time it will take to develop your site. However, most basic package websites are live within two weeks.
How do I update my website?
If you've selected a website package with a content management system, you will be given an administration panel from which you can change most elements of the elements and text of your pages. MacroDigit can update packages without a content management system manually. Please ask your project manager about our procedure for revision cycles.
How do search engines find my website?
Upon launch of your website, MacroDigit will submit your url to the major industry search engines. All websites built by MacroDigit are search engine optimized, and will contain keywords for being spydered, as well as descriptions for publication on a search engine. However, MacroDigit cannot make any specific claims as to what a given search engine will publish.
Who's looking at my website?
Statistical Visitor Tracking, and page view analytics are two premium services that MacroDigit offers to track who, when, and from where your visitors are coming from. We can also offer graphical traffic reports, and traffic by time comparisons.
How do I set up my email?
MacroDigit provides POP3, and IMAP email accounts. Each account can be registered in Apple Mail, and Microsoft Outlook easily. Upon completion of your website, you will be provided a PDF file on setting up your email. MacroDigit also offers Webmail, accessible at http://webmail.yourdomain.com.
How do I transfer my domain name to MacroDigit's servers?
To transfer your domain name to MacroDigit's servers, you need to change the DNS or domain name servers in your registrants control panel. Your project manager can give you specific information on how to transfer your domain name, and provide you with a PDF file to guide you through the transfer process.
How will my ecommerce website accept credit cards?
MacroDigit can program ecommerce websites to integrate with a variety of third party merchant gateways. Popular choices include PayPal, Authorize.net and 2Checkout. If you currently accept credit cards, we ask that you consult with your merchant services advisor to see which processing gateway they recommend.
